Bitter Cold and Snow on the Way for Thursday and Friday

The forecast calls for a low tonight around 8 degrees.

Bitter cold temperatures will continue for the next two days — with wind chill values possibly dipping below zero on Thursday. With the temperature possibly going as low as 8 degrees Thursday night and a high of just 25 degrees on Thursday afternoon, and winds gusting up to 33 mph, the temperature will feel like -1 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Wind gusts are expected to be 6-11 mph Thursday night. There's a 50 percent chance of snow, with accumulation expected to be less than an inch, after 4 p.m. on Friday. The snow (80 percent chance) is expected to end by 1 a.m. Saturday morning. Friday's high temperature is predicted at 28 degrees, and the wind-chill factor should dip down to zero degrees.
