ReplyWhat i dont like about this is that if the residents dont want the service the state still says you take it or face a reduction in aid. If voters and tax payers vote it down that should be the end of the discussion.

ReplyIm happy with the budget. They cant cut anymore. I understand an increase in rates and I'm in full support of our Police Department adding officers. Tilton should pay back the township.

ReplyI agree with Mrs. Jezycki. If you needed people why did you lay them off. I think it was to get rid of people and bring in his own new ones. This is the problem with having a guy in charge that doesn't live here. He doesn't care as much about the residents, employees, visitors, or daily commuters that work in this huge township. Mrs Jezycki should run for office. She does care.

ReplyAlways excuses! Give that money to essential services. The Schools are the biggest drain on our tax bill. 60% of my taxes go to the schools with a kid in private school.

ReplyIts a 2.4% budget reduction. It will have very little impact on anybody. They want you to believe the world is coming to an end but these cuts are needed long term to fix things. There are better ways to cut but as always Washington can't agree on anything so across the board they go!

Tony you keep saying knee jerk reaction. This report was started before the 6 year old was shot. Its not law yet it is a study about gun safety after a mass shooting. A knee jerk reaction is to attempt to fire out new laws without a study! Historically most laws are made because of the actions of a few.
