Police Blotter Includes Burglary, Obstruction and Trespassing

Possession and vandalism also part of the criminal activity.

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Jan. 16-22, 2012 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The responded to 1,033 calls for service. Of those calls, 91 were Emergency Medical Calls, 15 were Fire Calls, 10 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 22 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were 47 total arrests made, including three DWI, and 118 tickets were issued.

* Two building burglaries were reported during this period: On Jan. 18, a building on South Berlin Avenu was burglarized, and on Jan. 20, a building on West Cleveland Avenue was burglarized.

* Charles T. Flippen, 54, of Egg Harbor City, was arrested by Ptl. Stephen Vernon on Jan. 18 for burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $125,00 full bail.

* Timothy P. Michael, 23, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Costa on Jan. 18 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* Daniel Berrios, 18 of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Matthew Worth on Jan. 19 for obstruction. He was released on summons.

* Kevin M. Naylor, 21, of Pine Hine, was arrested by Ptl. Robert Bauer on Jan. 20 for improper behavior. He was released on a summons. 

* Brandon F. Bush, 21, of Allentown, NJ, was arrested by Ptl. Ken Snuffer on Jan. 20 for DWI. He was released on a summons. 

* Michele A. Giglio, 43, of Hammonton was arrested by Ptl. Christian Magazzu on Jan. 20 for hindering apprehension and disorderly conduct. In the same incident, Raul P. Melendez, 33, of Hamilton Township, was arrested for criminal trespass, hindering apprehension and criminal mischief. Both were released on summonses. 

* Ali Gocmez, 20, of Delran, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Costa on Jan. 20 for DWI. He was released on a summons.

* Michael G. Coffee, 21, of Gibbsboro, was arrested by Ptl. Richard Bauer on Jan. 20 for improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

* Robert B. Phillips, 27, of Hamilton Township, was arrested by Ptl. Christian Magazzu on Jan. 20 for shoplifting. He was released on a summons.

* Nelson Ruiz, Jr., 29, of Pleasantville, was arrested by Ptl. Incent Ceci on Jan. 20 for failure to register for Megan’s Law. He was released on a summons.

* Adrian G. Marrero, 18, and Rodson Jean, 19, both males, both of Galloway, were arrested by Ptl. Dan Weigle on Jan. 20 for possession of CDS.  They were released on summonses.

* Brandon E. Risley, 21, of Galloway, was arrested by Det. Ryan Goehringer on Jan. 20 for theft. He was released on a summons.

* Yomary Rodriguez, 32, of Egg Harbor, was arrested by Ptl. Christian Magazzu on Jan. 21 for possession of hypodermic needles and hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on outstanding warrants.

* Bernard Y. Taylor, 34, of Pleasantville, was arrested by Ptl. Christian Magazzu on Jan. 21 for burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and use of a juvenile to commit a crime. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $25,000 bail. In the same incident, a 13-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Christian Magazzu with criminal trespass. He was released to his parents on a juvenile summons. The two caused damage to a shed on a vacant property.

* A 15-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Paul Smith on Jan. 18 for hindering apprehension. He was released on a juvenile summons.
