Owen Patrick was six pounds, 15.7 ounces and 19 inches long when he was born on April 15.

Former U.S. Representative and his wife Amy Kennedy left the Roger B. Hansen Center for Childbirth at (ARMC) Mainland Campus, Pomona, New Jersey, with their new son, Owen Patrick, accompanied by Owen’s big sister Harper, four years old, April 17.

The Kennedys welcomed Owen Patrick at 5:25 p.m., Saturday, April 15. He weighed 6 pounds, 15.7 ounces, and was 19 ½ inches long at birth.

Before heading to their Brigantine home, the Kennedys thanked Blair Bergen, MD, FAOG, FACS, chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at ARMC, who led the delivery team, and the Center for Childbirth staff.

The Kennedys also shared their appreciation for The Arc of Atlantic County. The Kennedys met in 2010 at The Arc’s annual tribute dinner for which Patrick Kennedy, who was a co-founder of the Congressional Down Syndrome Caucus, was the honoree.
